CINDI SOLOMON

Executive Director

Cindi Solomon received her Bachelor's Degree from Vanderbilt University and her Law Degree from the University of South Carolina. She practices law at Motley Rice where she currently is working on the opioid litigation. 


In 2011, Cindi founded Operation Sight along with Drs. Boatwright, Herring and Solomon, and serves as its Volunteer Executive Director. In addition to her volunteer work for Operation Sight, Cindi currently serves on the Board of Kiawah Island Club and Spoleto Festival, USA.  She is also a member of Trident United Way’s Community Impact Committee. She is past president of the Trident United Way's Women's Leadership Council Steering Committee, and a past board member of Kahal Kadosh Beth Elohim, Trident United Way, the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired - Charleston and the Medical University’s Woman’s Club.  She is also a member of the Order of St. John.

DAPHNE HODDINOTT

Patient Coordinator

Daphne Hoddinott works as our Patient Coordinator. Born and raised in the Lowcountry, Daphne graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance from the College of Charleston in 2000. She was lucky to have had the opportunity to work at Storm Eye Institute at the Medical University of South Carolina in retina research with Dr. Alfaro and intraocular lens research with the late Dr. Apple. She is grateful for this new adventure and is eager to help all of our patients! In her spare time, she enjoys singing, watching movies, and spending time with her cat and dog.

ANNIE VULPAS

Program Coordinator 

Annie recently joined the team as our Program Coordinator. She recieved her bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in French and African Languages and Literature and her master's degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois - Chicago. Her specialty is in community health and she has a background in managing programs that address health disparities among vulnerable populations including people experiencing homelessness, people living with HIV, and LGBTQ adolescents. She is passionate about advocating for social justice and serving her community. In her spare time, Annie enjoys kayaking, gardening and making art.
